Their Starter plan is $29 and lists tracking; ours starts at €69 hosted or €0 self-hosted.
Their pricing page did not load on the day we checked and their tier limits are not published. Ours are one file in a public repository.
"$900+ worth" is a price, not a source. In AltoRank a person accepts, places and verifies every link, and you can read the code that proposes them.
Nothing reaches a live site without a person approving that specific draft.
Self-hosting is free and complete. SEOForge does not offer it.

How much does SEOForge cost?
Three tiers on the homepage as read on 2 September 2026: Starter $29, Premium $99 (shown struck from $149) and Pro $399 a month, with a 3-day free trial. Premium lists 30 articles a month. What Starter and Pro include is not published, and seoforge.ai/pricing returned a 404 when we checked. We would rather say that than guess.
Where do SEOForge's backlinks come from?
Their homepage says "$900+ worth high DR backlinks build for you on auto-pilot" and their FAQ and docs pages did not load. No page we could find explains the source. Google's spam policies name "using automated services to create links" as link spam, so an undisclosed automated source is a risk to weigh before it is a benefit.
Is SEOForge reviewed anywhere?
Not that we could find. There is no Trustpilot page, zero reviews on G2 and SourceForge, and the testimonials on its homepage are first name only. The one YouTube review is by its founder. That is not a criticism of the product; it means the "5,000+ people" claim cannot be checked, and we do not repeat what we cannot check.
Does AltoRank have a backlink exchange too?
Yes. The difference is who acts: in AltoRank the software proposes matches and scores relevance, but a person accepts, places and verifies each link before any credit moves. It is also small; we are early and would rather say so.
